The Turkish Off-Road RC community took heart once more in Snappy Raceway. Drivers had lots of fun for the whole day. The race was organized by Ciddi Amator (Serious Amateur) in 1/8th Scale Electric Buggy Class.
There were 22 drivers in the race. Sponsored teams participated with 10 drivers total and 12 drivers were non-sponsored.
Practice Heats
Race day started with practice heats, with three groups running controlled practice for 10 minutes. Qualification groups and starting positions were determined by the best times in practice heats.
Qualification Heats
Each group ran three qualification heats, 7 minutes each. According to the qualification points, drivers raced in A Main, B Main or C Main.

Finals
After struggling for three 10-minute sessions in A Main, Alain Sarafyan won Buggyvolt 2012. Cengiz Gokbulut from Racing Academy took 2nd position and his teammate Irfan Ugurlucan followed and won 3rd position.
Ciddi Amator (Serious Amateur) brings a new breath of fresh air to off-road RC races in Turkey and new organizations will follow.
The next race is called the âśBuggyburn 2012.2 (BB12.2)âť and will be held in Snappy Raceway, Istanbul on July 22nd, with classes of 1/8th nitro buggy.
